Fifteen Book Series I Still Want to Finish

I think we all have this feeling – you read the first book in a series and think ‘this is amazing, I have to get the rest of this series’, and then you buy the next book… and you never read it. I am very good at doing that because I have so many series I started but never finished. Today I will talk about fifteen of those (that have either been completely published or will finish this year) that I do still want to continue. (I won’t be counting any prequels, novellas or companion books/series, just the ‘original’ books in the series).

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard (4 books, 2 read)
Renegades by Marissa Meyer (3 books, 1 read)
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir (4 books, 2 read) – Last book will be released in December 2020
Shades of Magic by V.E. Schwab (3 books, 1 read)
The Old Kingdom by Garth Nix (6 books, 1 read) – Last book will be released in 2021

Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castell (6 books, 5 read)
The Witchlands by Susan Dennard (5 books, 1 read) – Two books still unreleased
His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman (3 books, 1 read)
Trials of Apollo by Rick Riordan (5 books, 3 read) – Last book will be released in October 2020
Arc of a Scythe by Neal Shusterman (3 books, 1 read)

Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness (3 books, 1 read)
Mortal Engines Quartet by Philip Reeves (4 books, 1 read)
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead (6 books, 5 read)
Charlotte Holmes by Britanny Cavalarho (4 books, 3 read)
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (3 books, 1 read)

Which book series do you still need to finish? Any of these you have finished and think I should prioritise? I know there are at least two I will probably finish this year because the last books in those series are coming out towards the end of the year, but other than that I have no idea where to start/continue.
