Ten Out-of-my-Comfort-Zone Books I Enjoyed

Published by Nessa Luna on

My favourite genres are Fantasy and Science Fiction, so those are usually the books I pick up and enjoy most often. But sometimes there is a romance book or a contemporary book that I read and like as much as I would have, if it were fantasy or sci-fi. In this post I’ll be talking about ten books that weren’t my ‘usual’ genre, but books that I did enjoy! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

TTT 2402-01

Just One Day by Gayle Forman
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Kitty Hawk by Iain Reading

TTT 2402-02

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers
Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion

So yeah, mostly contemporaries/romance books and a couple of books with vampires and zombies, creatures that I absolutely despise. But somehow, I just really enjoyed all of these books, and I just completely looked past the things that I don’t usually like!

Which out-of-your-comfort-zone books did you enjoy?
