Christmas is over, and we’re all looking foward (or maybe not looking forward) to the new year. Like so many other people, we exchanged gifts at Christmas, and in this post I want to show you what I got. Did I get everything from my Wishlist? No, but I did get some really amazing things!
I got a new perfume, which smells really great; and I’ve been wearing it since I got it. Some lip balms, one with a wolf on it that is minty; and some Disney princess lip smackers that all have different smells. My favourite one at the moment is Cinderella’s which is vanilla!
Then I got some food, of course; chocolates and hula hoops! My sister went to Newcastle before Christmas and got me this bag. They used to sell them at Marks & Spencer in Amsterdam, but they don’t have them there anymore, which made me really sad. But now I have seven bags all for myself!
I also got a new organiser which is also a colouring book, which makes me really excited! And some notebooks which I had asked for. My mum also added some markers that I could use for these notebooks.
Some facial masks which I am not 100% sure I am going to use, but it’s always nice to have them. One of them is a chocolate one, and the other a peel-off one which I have used before and it’s really weird, ha ha ha!
And then there’s the Hobbit game, and I have no idea how to play it, but it has a board, pawns, a little ring and cards. I am going to read the rules soon and try and figure out how it works, and then maybe I can go and play it with a couple of friends.
The little book at the bottom is The Saga of Gunnlaug Serpent-Tongue, which is an Icelandig mythology story I believe. I ordered it myself at a bookstore in Haarlem and my mum picked it up and wrapped it for me for Christmas. I’d bought it before, from an online store, but it aas 5 euros there while it didn’t even have more than 80 pages, so – naturally – I returned it.
From my sister I also got the Marvel shirt, which is really cool. Currently – while typing this – one of my cats has decided to use it as a bed, so I’m not the only one who really likes it!
And last, but certainly not least, I got three (!!) Funko’s (and an Iron Man iPhone case, yay!). From my best friend, I got the Holiday Dancing Groot, which is just the most adorable one ever. Look at it! It’s so cute! My sister got me Jack Skellington, which is really exciting! I had been eye-ing the Day of the Dead version, but the normal one is really cool too of course. And from my mum I got the Iron Man Mark 43 which is super duper cool! This is also the one who is probably the easiest to put down, because he’s got the blasts from his arms and feet under him which makes him a bit heavier but also so easy to put down (and less easy for him to fall over!)
