November movies I want to see
Last month, I decided to buy a Platinum pas for my local cinema. It’s a bit like the Pathe one I had a couple of years ago, except this one is for a cinema much easier for me to reach each day. Of course, with the return of my unlimited cinema visits, I decided to bring back the ‘Movies I want to see’ feature each month!
November has a couple of nice movies, but there is only one I am really looking forward to. Which one, you’ll see at the end of this post. First, here are the other November movies I really want to see!
Regression – 12 November
Cast: Emma Watson, Ethan Hawke, David Thewlis, Aaron Ashmore, Devon Bostick, Dale Dickey
Synopsis: A young girl is sexually abused by her father. Thus, begins the disturbing tale of a father and daughter torn apart, thrown into the center of a conspiracy that shocks the nation. (Source: IMDb).
Mainly because of Emma Watson and David Thewlis (Hermione and Lupin come on!), but I’m also very interested in the story. Luckily, my friend wants to see this movie too, so I guess we’ll go as soon as it’s released.
The Good Dinosaur – 25 November
Cast: Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn, A.J. Buckley, Anna Paquin
Synopsis: “The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? In this epic journey into the world of dinosaurs, an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. (Source: IMDb).
This was a no-brainer. It’s a Disney/Pixar movie, and it’s about dinosaurs. I’m really curious about this movie, and I can’t wait to go and see it, yay!
Burnt – 26 November
Cast: Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Daniel Brühl, Riccardo Scamarcio, Omar Sy
Synopsis: Adam Jones is a Chef who destroyed his career with drugs and diva behavior. He cleans up and returns to London, determined to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars. (Source: IMDb).
Honestly, the only reason I added this was because Bradley Cooper is in it. I first saw him in The Silver Linings Playbook, but most recently I saw him in Guardians of the Galaxy (or well, we heard his voice – because he voiced Rocket Raccoon).
Mockingjay Part 2 – 18 November
Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks
Synopsis: As the war of Panem escalates to the destruction of other districts by the Capitol, Katniss Everdeen, the reluctant leader of the rebellion, must bring together an army against President Snow, while all she holds dear hangs in the balance. (Source: IMDb).
Do I even need to tell you why I want to see this movie? Seriously.
