Top Ten Books For Readers Who Like Ghost Stories

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the people of The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s subject is your top ten books for readers who like [insert subject], and I have chosen ghosts. I love reading about ghosts, love watching those ghost shows on TV (whether they’re fake or not), and one of my favourite shows ever is Supernatural which features a lot of ghosts (and other awesome creatures). So here we go, my top ten books you should read if you love ghosts!

Anna Dressed In Blood by Kendare Blake
Say Her Name by James Dawson
Mary Hades by Sarah Dalton
The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier

Mary: The Summoning by Hillary Monahan
Asylum by Madeleine Roux
The Haunting of Sunshine Girl by Paige McKenzie
Unbreakable by Kami Garcia
Shutter by Courtney Alamera

I have only read the first five books and enjoyed them all. I didn’t like Ruby Red as much as I thought I would (yeah I featured it because it has ghosts in it, it’s not all about ghosts though), but the others were really awesome. I haven’t read the last five, but I am currently reading The Haunting of Sunshine Girl and I am really curious about the other four.

So if you love ghost stories, you should definitely read these books!
