WWW & Wishing On Wednesday (26/11)

This is the WWW and Wishing On Wednesday post for 26 November. One month ago, my sister turned fifteen. In two days I will see my favourite band again (for one of the last times ever). In thirteen days I will go to a Hobbit marathon and see the last ever Hobbit movie for the first time! It’s also the last WWW and Wishing On Wednesday post for November. Aww.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly bloghop created by MizB from Should be Reading. It has you answering three simple questions: What are you currently reading, What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? Here are my answers!

kitty hawkWhat are you currently reading? | Right now, I am reading Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold by Iain Reading. I got this book from the publisher and I am very curious about it. So far it hasn’t really grabbed me yet, but then again I haven’t read a lot of pages. Because I am re-reading The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien as well. And I am really thinking about getting another copy that I could use to re-read the book in the future, so I can keep this book safe, because I have some very valuable autographs in this one!

What did you recently finish? | Since last week, I finished rereading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I had stopped reading the book at around where I thought the first movie would end, and I was almost right. Then, because I didn’t want to leave the book unfinished, I just finished the rest of the book after the movie.

I also finished reading The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey. I still need to write a review about it, but I can say that I didn’t like it as much as I liked The Fifth Wave, but I was still happy to read about Cassie and her brother, and their little gang. I also finished two Grimm Fairy Tale Retelling Prequels, Rumpelstein and Jawigi by Cameron Jace, which weren’t really that amazing actually. I am really scared that Moon and Madly will be the only likable story in this series.. Oh well..

What do you think you’ll read next? | Actually I have no idea. I still have some books on my to-read list (more than books I’ve read actually), but I honestly have no idea which book I want to read next. Maybe I’ll just pick one from my Winter TBR list that I’ve posted yesterday.. I’m open to suggestions!

Wishing On Wednesday is a weekly bloghop created by Jill from Breaking the Spine and it has you posting about books you can’t wait to get your hands on; new releases or books that have been released already but that you just haven’t gotten yet.

creaturevaultTitle: The Creature Vault (Goodreads)
Author: Jody Revenson
Release Date: 14 October 2014

Dementors and House-elves, merpeople and Chinese Fireball Dragons–these are just a few of the magical creatures and frightening monsters populating J. K. Rowling’s wizarding world. Harry Potter: The Creature Vault is a fascinating look at how this menagerie was brought to life for the blockbuster Harry Potter film series. Detailed profiles of each creature include rare concept illustrations, behind-the-scenes photography, and filmmaking secrets from the Warner Bros. archive. A removable poster picturing each of the creatures and an interactive Eeylops Owl Emporium catalog complete this must-have package.

Why I am waiting on this book:
I love Harry Potter, and when I found out about this book I might have jumped up and down. It’s not written by J.K. Rowling, but it’s still Harry Potter and I just love books like these. I own a Film Wizardry and that is just one of my favourite books to look at. My dream is still to own the Page to Screen book, but that will probably happen next year. This book just sounds amazing and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
