WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (01/10)

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

184850WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | Right now, I am still re-reading Cress by Marissa Meyer. This is my favourite book in the series, mainly because I just love reading about Cress and Thorne together; and I just can’t wait for Winter (and Fairest) to be released!

I am also reading (Thuis in) Virgin River by Robyn Carr. I got this book from the Dutch publisher and I am quite curious about it, even though I am already really annoyed by the main character.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | I didn’t finish any book since last Wednesday, *gasp*, but I did put The Blessed by Tonya Hurley back on my shelf, mainly so I could concentrate on Virgin RIver, which I need to finish before the 13th of October.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | After I finish either of the books I’m reading, I’ll probably start The Blessed again, or just any book from my shelf that I still need to read. I don’t know yet. I’ve got some books on my e-reader as well, so maybe I’ll just pick one of those.

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

Anna and the French Kiss (Goodreads)
Series: Anna and the French Kiss #1
Author: Stephanie Perkins
Release date: 2 December 2010

Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris–until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all… including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

I am not a huge fan of romance, but I’ve heard most people absolutely loving these three books from Stephanie Perkins. So I thought I’d try them out, to see if they really are as good as anyone says.

What are you reading, what did you recently finish, what do you want to start reading, and what’s the first book on your wishlist? Share your answers in a comment (a link to your blog or just your answers if you don’t have a blog)!
