WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (03/09)

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

irontrial1WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | I am currently reading Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas, and I enjoy it very much. I really liked the first book in the series, and I can’t wait to read the other books! I’m really glad this book series isn’t going to be a trilogy like most series released these days!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | Since last week, I finished both The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin, which I liked a lot as you can read in my review; and Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo which I LOVED. You can read my review if you click this link!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | Honestly, I have no idea what to read next. I have several books still on my shelf waiting to be read, and I think I’ll just randomly pick one of them. Or maybe I’m going to read one or two of the books I got from Netgalley, probably The Iron Trials by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black. I’ll see!

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

22294935Title: The Dregs (Goodreads)
Series: The Dregs #1
Author: Leigh Bardugo
Release date: 2015

The project, described as a blend of Ocean’s 11 and Game of Thrones, is set in Kerch, a small island nation in the “Grishaverse” (meaning the same universe as her Shadow and Bone books) with tremendous economic power, the hub of all international trade and a country rich in art and culture … but also home to one of the most dangerous criminal underworlds. A crew of dangerous felonious misfits face impossible odds when they are pulled together to break into one of the most guarded places in the world.

Some book series are so good, I wouldn’t mind if the author wrote more books in that same universe, but about different characters. Harry Potter is one of them, and I guess I could add the Grisha trilogy to that list too. I LOVED Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising, and when I found out Leigh Bardugo was writing another series in the ‘Grishaverse’ I might have cheered. I am so excited for The Dregs and I can’t wait until 2015!

What are you reading, what did you recently finish, what do you want to start reading, and what’s the first book on your wishlist? Share your answers in a comment (a link to your blog or just your answers if you don’t have a blog)!
