Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has a different subject every week. This week’s subject is my top ten (or six, actually) of authors I own the most books of. I’ve decided to go for physical copies only, and I found out I don’t own a lot of complete series. Anyway, here we go!

1. J.K. Rowling {16} – I own all her Harry Potter books; all seven of them in English, and five of them in Dutch. I also own the companion books to the series; Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, and the Tales of Beedle the Bard. I also own a copy of the Casual Vacancy.

2. J.R.R. Tolkien {10} – I own the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Hobbit, and the Silmarillion. I also have two Dutch LOTR books and three Lord of the Rings comics, based on the cartoon movie from the 70’s.

3. Douglas Adams {5} – I have the entire five-part Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy ‘trilogy’, of which I have only read one book. Oops! I’ll probably continue the series asap!

4. Veronica Roth {4} – All three books in the Divergent series, and the companion book Four: A Divergent Story Collection. Though I am a tiny bit annoyed by the fact that the last one is in hardcover while the rest is in paperback. Oh well, it’s still pretty!

5. Marissa Meyer {3} – Cinder, Scarlet and Cress; those are the three books in the series that are out at the moment, and I own all three of them. I can’t wait to get my hands on the other two books in the series, though that might still take a while, meh…

6. Suzanne Collins {3} – I also own all three books in the Hunger Games series. I don’t have any of her other books, but I am very curious so I might buy one of them soon!

And that was my top six for today! I do have some series on my shelf that have a lot of books in them (Tomorrow When the War Began, Gone by Michael Grant for example) but I don’t own all the books in that series yet..
