WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (23/07)

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

james potterWHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | At the moment, I am still reading the James Potter story, and I have decided that I really don’t like it. I mean, it is nice to read about how Harry’s son goes to Hogwarts but to me it just feels like the author threw away everything that’s canon and that is something I really hate. Ugh.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | Since last week, I finished Alles Is Weg by Anke and Lieke Kranendonk, which I rated 2 stars on Goodreads mainly because it just felt really childish and weird (even though I think it’s a ya/teen book). I also started and finished Lies by Michael Grant, the third book in the Gone series. Luckily, I liked this more than Hunger, so I will definitely go and check out the rest of the series soon! You can read my review of Lies on my blog by the way!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | Hopefully, my copy of Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo will arrive soon, because I just want to read more about Alina and Mal! I want it noooooooooow! (But I am afraid the package might have been lost in the mail, because i should have DEFINITELY had it by now). Other than that I have no idea what I want to read next.. Any suggestions?

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

plague1Title: Plague (Goodreads)
Series: Gone #4
Author: Michael Grant
Release date: 5 april 2011

It’s been eight months since all the adults disappeared. GONE.

They’ve survived hunger. They’ve survived lies. But the stakes keep rising, and the dystopian horror keeps building. Yet despite the simmering unrest left behind by so many battles, power struggles, and angry divides, there is a momentary calm in Perdido Beach.

But enemies in the FAYZ don’t just fade away, and in the quiet, deadly things are stirring, mutating, and finding their way free. The Darkness has found its way into the mind of its Nemesis at last and is controlling it through a haze of delirium and confusion. A highly contagious, fatal illness spreads at an alarming rate. Sinister, predatory insects terrorize Perdido Beach. And Sam, Astrid, Diana, and Caine are plagued by a growing doubt that they’ll escape – or even survive – life in the FAYZ. With so much turmoil surrounding them, what desperate choices will they make when it comes to saving themselves and those they love?

Plague, Michael Grant’s fourth book in the bestselling Gone series, will satisfy dystopian fans of all ages.

Yes I immediately added Plague to my wishlist after finishing Lies, and I will probably buy it next month, or the month after that. I want to know how the story goes on, and yeah I am starting to like this series more now!
