WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (30/04)

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

trialssWHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | Again, still reading the books from the previous Wednesday. I have a bit of a reading slump, which is probably caused by what some of my friends have named ‘HobbitCon blues’. I decided to save Sally Green’s Half Bad for later though, because after watching the movie last Friday, I really felt like rereading Divergent by Veronica Roth. So I’m going to start that tonight probably. Hopefully next Wednesday I’ll have a more exciting post, with finished books!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | Same as last time, no books finished!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | I want to start The Coldest Girl in Cold Town by Holly Black because I’ve heard a lot of good things about it, and the book is calling me from the shelf it’s standing on!

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

desol01Title: The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (IMDb)
Series: The Hobbit #2
Author: J.R.R. Tolkien (book), Peter Jackson (director)
Release date: November 2014

The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring.

So, not a book this time, but a DVD. I absolutely loved the Desolation of Smaug, despite all the changes that were made, and of course I would love to own it on DVD. The normal version is out already, but I am waiting for the extended edition, which will probably come out in November this year, just like the previous one. This EE will have some more scenes, a lot of extra’s and probably a nicer cover. Though I love Bilbo, I’m not really a fan of the cover shown here. I would love to have one with Smaug on it, mainly because his name is in the movie title (okay, Bilbo is technically in the movie title as well, but shh).

What are you reading, what did you recently finish, what do you want to start reading, and what’s the first book on your wishlist? Share your answers in a comment (a link to your blog or just your answers if you don’t have a blog)!
