WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (12/02)

www wednesday1WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | I am still reading the Medea Complex by Rachel Roberts. I decided to finish Unhinged first before continuing with this story, so I’m going to do that now (seeing as I finished Unhinged).

I also started Pivot Point by Kasie West. I had heard a lot of good things about it from other people, and then Epic Reads had it on their website for free this weekend. I haven’t finished it, but I’m going to get myself an ebook version of it so I can finish it!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | The last book I finished was Unhinged by A.G. Howard. I loved it, really! My review can be read here. Then, I read The Moth in the Mirror by A.G. Howard, a novella in the Splintered series.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | Hopefully, when I’m finished with The Medea Complex, Cress by Marissa Meyer will have arrived, and I will be able to read that! If not, I’ll start with the Fault in Our Stars by John Green, which I was going to re-read, but then Pivot Point came along.

wishlist wednesday

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

ruby redTitle: Ruby Red (Goodreads)
Series: Precious Stone Trilogy #1
Author: Kerstin Gier
Release date: 10 May 2011

Gwyneth Shepherd’s sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth, who in the middle of class takes a sudden spin to a different era!

Gwyneth must now unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date to ward off suspicion about her ability, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon–the time traveler from a similarly gifted family that passes the gene through its male line, and whose presence becomes, in time, less insufferable and more essential. Together, Gwyneth and Gideon journey through time to discover who, in the 18th century and in contemporary London, they can trust.

I have heard a lot of good things about this book series, so it got me curious as well. Not only does the cover look AMAZING, the summary sounds interesting and the story just sounds quite unique to me (I’ve never read a story like this before). There’s a movie based on this book, which I’m planning on watching as well, but after I’ve read the book.

What are you reading, what did you recently finish, what do you want to start reading, and what’s the first book on your wishlist? Share your answers in a comment (a link to your blog or just your answers if you don’t have a blog)!
