WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (21/01)

Wishlist WednesdayWWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | I am currently reading Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, part two of the Miss Peregrine series. I wanted to order it on the day it came out, but at the time I got on the computer, the paperback version on TBD was sold out already; I looked around for other websites that sold books, but none had the book, until I looked on and they had it, in paperback! So I bought it there and it arrived today. I’ve already read a couple of pages!

I am also still reading Runemarks by Joanne Harris. It’s not that I don’t like it (I love it), but I just get distracted every time I decide to read the book. Today I am going to try to read at least fifty pages.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | Since the last Wednesday I finished Alex & Raven by Lauren Oliver, two Delirium novella’s. I also finished The Magical World of Harry Potter by David Colbert, and I’ve posted my review here.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | Like I said in the previous WWW Wednesday, I am going to read Unhinged by A.G. Howard next. I was going to start it after I finished The Magical Worlds of HP but then Hollow City came in, and I kinda wanted to read HC a bit more than Unhinged. So that’s up next, after I finish Runemarks.

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

33Title: Fangirl (Goodreads)
Series: –
Author: Rainbow Rowell
Release date: 10 September 2013 (paperback version: 30 Jan 2014)

Cath and Wren are identical twins, and until recently they did absolutely everything together. Now they’re off to university and Wren’s decided she doesn’t want to be one half of a pair any more – she wants to dance, meet boys, go to parties and let loose. It’s not so easy for Cath. She’s horribly shy and has always buried herself in the fan fiction she writes, where she always knows exactly what to say and can write a romance far more intense than anything she’s experienced in real life. Without Wren Cath is completely on her own and totally outside her comfort zone. She’s got a surly room-mate with a charming, always-around boyfriend, a fiction-writing professor who thinks fan fiction is the end of the civilized world, a handsome classmate who only wants to talk about words… And she can’t stop worrying about her dad, who’s loving and fragile and has never really been alone. Now Cath has to decide whether she’s ready to open her heart to new people and new experiences, and she’s realizing that there’s more to learn about love than she ever thought possible.

I really liked Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, and when this book was announced I got really excited, because this summary just sounds really awesome. And I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book, by bloggers that I follow, so I knew I had to have this book. Personally, I’m not a fan of hardcover books, so I have to wait for the paperback version to come out (in eight days), but hey I bet it’s going to be worth it!
