WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (18/12)

Published by Nessa Luna on

www_wednesdays4WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | Again, I am still reading City of Glass by Cassandra Clare, though I think I am going to stop if I can’t finish it by Sunday. I just can’t really get myself to continue reading, because I am just so annoyed by all the characters in this book. I am also still reading Halloween: Magic, Mystery and the Macabre by Paula Guran but I am reading a story at a time, and I don’t want to rush it. I have also just started reading Just One Day by Gayle Forman, because I am really curious what it’s about exactly.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | I finished rereading the part of J.R.R. Tolkien’s the Hobbit that happened in the second movie, chapters 7 til 13.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | After Sunday, I might start the Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien, because I just really want to read it.

I have also decided to add Wishlist Wednesday to this post, Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop  hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

12396528Title: Hollow City (Goodreads)
Series: Miss Peregrine’s #2
Author: Ransom Riggs
Release date: 14 January 2014

In 1940 after the first book ends, Jacob and his new Welsh island friends flee to London, the Peculiar capital of the world. Caul, a dangerous madman, is Miss Peregrine’s brother, and can steal Peculiar abilities for himself. The Peculiars must fight for survival, again.

When I read Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children for the first time, I fell in love with it. I had never read a book like it before, and I just loved looking at all those bizarre pictures. When I heard that there was going to be a second book, I might have jumped out of joy. More writing about these peculiar kids, and more bizarre pictures!

I have already pre-ordered a copy of this book, and I can’t wait for it to arrive, woohoo!

What are you reading, what did you recently finish, what do you want to start reading, and what’s the first book on your wishlist? Share your answers in a comment (a link to your blog or just your answers if you don’t have a blog)!
