nano2Tomorrow November starts, and with that the National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo).

A lot of people participate in this yearly event, in which you write a novel of approx. 50,000 words before November ends. Last year, I participated, though I never finished my novel (either lack of time, me being lazy, or a writers block, I don’t remember). This year, I am determined to finish my novel, and I have actually made some preparations this year.

I have written an outline for my story, written down information about the characters (not a lot, because I’ll probably make that up along the road), and I’ve gotten myself a notebook in which I can write things down as well. I have also added a widget to my sidebar here, so you can all see how much progress I am making.

I will not share any information with you yet, because I will probably just end up changing it as I am writing, but I will share the working title with you. I have decided to temporarily call my novel ‘The Witch Hunt‘, which is really not a very original and surprising title, but it was the best I could come up with and I just needed a title to make a cover for my NaNoWriMo account, which you can find here.

Basically, the story is about magic, and war, and it happens in the future, and that is all I am going to tell you. When/If I finish my novel this month, I will probably not share the entire story with you, but I will probably tell you what it is about, write a brief summary or something like that. So if you want me to finish my novel, go and encourage me (through comments, facebook, tumblr, twitter, anything)!

Anyone else who’s participating this year? Leave a comment with your NaNoWriMo account! ^^
Good luck to everyone!
