WWW Wednesday (2/10)

www_wednesdays4Another Wednesday, and another WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme by MizB from Should Be Reading, and it has you answering three simple questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish; What do you think you’ll read next? And here are my answers:

What are you currently reading? | I am still reading Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, I can’t really get into it, but that might just be because I get distracted by my computer/other books the entire time. I have also just started A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin, a book with 800 pages; omg. I think that’s the thickest book I’ll have read this year if I manage to finish it.

What did you recently finish? | On Saturday I started and finished Outside In by Maria V. Snyder; in Dutch. I’m not really a fan of Dutch books, because usually they translate names as well, and I find that really annoying. Luckily, as far as I can remember, this book still has the original names (it even has the original title, though I wouldn’t have minded if they had changed that into something more Dutch). I also finished Streaks of Blue by Jack Chaucer, a book I got through NetGalley. I don’t know exactly what I thought of it yet.. I liked the idea behind the story, but in my opinion, it wasn’t that well written.

What do you think you’ll read next? | When I’ve finished Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, I will probably start The Madness Underneath by Maureen Johnson, the second book in the Shades of London series. I liked the first book (partially because of the tiny Doctor Who reference), and I thought the first book ended with a bit of a cliffhanger, so I had to have the second book. And voila, I saw it on Amazon, and I ordered it.
