Book Quotes II

I was looking through the folder that holds my phone pictures, and I found out that I had made quite a couple of pictures from books, from quotes that I thought were funny, or nice, or just quotes that I loved to bits. And I thought, why not make a post about it?! So here you go, my collection of quotes from books! Because they’re quite a lot, I have decided to divide the post into two parts. This is part two.

After HobbitCon, the words ‘Kaputt gemacht’ became really funny to my friends and me, so I actually laughed out loud when I read the word in this book | Shroud of Sorrow, Tommy Donbavand

A Hobbit/Lord of the Rings reference in a Doctor Who book, PERFECT | Shroud of Sorrow, Tommy Donbavand

I just really like references to my favourite things in my other favourite things, haha! | The Name of the Star, Maureen Johnson

It made me think of Primrose (from the Hunger Games), and yeah (I know of course that they’re actually flowers as well, shh) | The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, C.S. Lewis

After seeing ‘The Angels Take Manhattan’ I hadn’t liked the Statue of Liberty that much. So this sentence made me happy | The Dead and the Gone, Susan Beth Pfeffer

Again, not a DW reference, but just funny | Entangled, Nikki Jefford

One of the very few things I liked about this book, the LOTR reference | Entangled, Nikki Jefford

Give me ALL the beautiful references!! | The 5th Wave, Rick Yancey

Not a reference, but like ‘doctor who’ it was just funny, Being Human is a TV Show from the UK | The 5th Wave, Rick Yancey

Just one of the many beautiful quotes from the Harry Potter series | HP & the Philosopher’s Stone, J.K. Rowling

This just made me laugh really hard, in the middle of the night | The Cuckoo’s Calling, Robert Galbraith

We finally know who let the dogs out, y’all! | Parasite, Mira Grant

One of the few things that actually made me laugh in this book | City of Bones, Cassandra Clare

A quote about me, no seriously, I hate wearing jeans | Ten Things We Did, Sarah Mlynowski

I just love Rory and the Doctor’s bromance so much | The Way Through the Woods, Una McCormack

And I absolutely love Amy and Rory together, awwww | The Way Through the Woods, Una McCormack

This was actually a bit funny, and though Dumbledore would probably not use the Killing Curse, Dumbledore is way more awesome than Magnus Bane, come on!! | City of Ashes, Cassandra Clare

First time I read this, I had to read it about three times again before I realised what had happened. Then, I really wished this had been an episode. Because the (Tenth) Doctor and Rose really are one of my OTP’s (One True Pairing) | The Stone Rose, Jaqueline Raynor
