It is November, which means it’s almost time for Christmas, Best of the Year lists and of course the new year! But first, there is this small End of the Year Book Tag that I wanted to do. This tag was created by Ariel on YouTube!
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
Well, Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo is definitely one of them. Other than that I don’t think I really started any book I *need* to finish by the end of this year..
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
I’m not really a seasonal reader. I can read all kinds of books throughout the year and don’t really feel like reading a certain genre in a certain season/month. I do always try to reread Harry Potter in the summer, but other than that no specific autumnal reads this time.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
No books that have been released this year, as far as I remember, I just have a small list of books I’m excited for in 2020.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Is there a book you think could shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
I’m going to be boring and mention this book for the third time – Ninth House. Because honestly so far I’ve loved all of Leigh’s books and I think that while this one is different from her usual books, I will still love it!
Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
Well I think my friends and I are going to continue doing buddy reads and we’ll probably also continue picking books for each other to read. I also want to reread the entire Harry Potter series and annotate them (I started it this year but stopped). Other than that, I have no plans yet. Just that I want to read 100 books.
Do you have reading plans for the new year already? Let me know what they are!
