Behind the Scenes

Wrap-Up: February 2018

I feel like people say this every month, but I truly can’t believe February is over already. It felt so short, which is of course due to it being only 28 days long. But it really feels like I’ve posted the last wrap-up only a week ago or so. Oh well, March is here, so we’re going to have to wrap up February!

Books bought, received

I got quite an amount of books this month, so I am going to divide it into three categories: books I bought myself, books I got, and Netgalley books.

Books I bought:

Books I received:

Other things bought, received:

I got quite an amount of things this month, so I’m not going to go into too much detail. Some cosplay items, some Funko Pops, some other things…

Read, watched, started

Non-Disney movies watched:

For all Disney movies I watched, you can look at this page!

This Month
  • I saw Black Panther in the cinema (I liked it, but it’s not a new fav tbh)
  • Caught some shiny Dratini (SO CUTE)
  • Went to the Huishoudbeurs with my mum (it’s a Dutch thing)
  • Read 14 (!) books (making me 12 books ahead of my reading challenge)
  • Got the most annoying cold ever (which is still going strong)

Again I made a list of books and movies I wanted to read/see in February, did I manage to complete them all?

Want to read: Rogue One Graphic Novel, Turtles All the Way Down, The BFG, Poison Study, The Titan’s Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, Batman: Nightwalker
Want to see: Black Panther, The Shape of Water, Every Day

Well, I managed to read all the books I wanted to read and more! I didn’t see all three movies that were released this month, but I might go and see one of those very soon. I saw the most important one, and that’s what counts!

Next month

In March, I am going to meet Marissa Meyer! She’s coming to my country for a quick visit and I bought a ticket to see her and get my books signed, ahhhh! I think I’m pretty sure which books to bring (Cinder & Renegades) but that might change between now and the 20th! Other than that, it’s Dutch Comic Con time at the end of the month, and though I still don’t know for sure what I’m going to wear, I am very excited for it!

Want to read: The Last Olympian, The Lost Hero, Fortunately the Milk…, Nevernight, Coco, W.I.T.C.H. vol. 1, Obsidio
Want to see:
Tomb Raider, Pacific Rim: Uprising, Peter Rabbit, Ready Player One, Red Sparrow

See you at the end of March!
