This or That Book Tag
I found this This or That book tag on Northern Plunder a while back, and decided I wanted to do it too! Basically, you get two options, and you have to choose which one you prefer.
Reading on the couch or on the bed?
Hmm, honestly I’d prefer my bed. Because when I’m on the couch, downstairs, there is always someone either talking to me, or humming or whistling, and there’s always noise coming from the TV or the radio and I just cannot concentrate. So yes, my bed.
Male main character or female main character?
I really don’t care at all. As long as it’s a nice character, I will enjoy the story.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
Salty. I am a very salty person myself, so yes I would definitely pick up salted popcorn or something like that over candy or something like that.
Trilogies or quartets?
Depends on whether the story is really interesting. But I think I’ve read more trilogies than quartets, so I guess I’d have to choose that one!
First person point of view or third person point of view?
As I am not a huge fan of multiple POV stories, that are often third person pov, I am definitely picking first-person narrative.
Reading at night or in the morning?
I am not a morning person, so you’d probably never see me reading in the morning. Definitely reading at night!
Libraries or bookstores?
I don’t own a library card, so I prefer bookstores.
Books that make you laugh or make you cry?
Books that can really make me cry – as in tears streaming down my face, me not being able to breathe through my nose – that type of crying. Those are my favourites.
Black book covers or white book covers?
Character driven or plot driven stories?
I really don’t care? If it’s a great story it’s a great story, I don’t mind if it’s more about the characters or more about the plot. Sure I would love to have every book to be equally divided, but honestly, there are great character driven books and there are great plot-driven books.
And there we have my This or That meme. Did you do this tag? Share your post with me in the comments so I can check out your answers.
