Behind the Scenes #8
The first two weeks of May are already over, and it’s time for another Behind the scenes post! In which we celebrate both my father’s and my own birthday, and I get a surprise present in the mail!
I received this shirt in the mail two days after I went to see Civil War in the cinema.. *sighs* It is my favourite t-shirt now, though.
On the 1st of May, my dad turned 56 and we had some family over to celebrate. My dad and I both love whiskey, so naturally, we brought out the bottle and had a couple of glasses. This one is Jack Daniel’s with honey and it. is. so. goooooooood.
I received this book a couple of days after the release date, and I almost immediately started it. Unfortunately, there was a scene quite early in the book View Spoiler »the sex scene « Hide Spoiler that has made me hesitant to pick it up. It’s been almost ten days and I still haven’t passed 200 pages. Oh well…
This tree honestly looked so beautiful then, but now it’s already lost most of its flowers and the flowers that are still on there look very dull such a shame!
I reorganised my shelves a tiny bit and then decided to make a s(h)elfie.
Tanja and I went to Haarlem to browse the second-hand DVD/game store and I brought home these four DVDs for 5,75 in total. Wanted was only 0,25 cents!!
This cat has been visiting our garden for a couple of months now, and a while back we finally found out who he belongs to. It’s such a sweetheart and he loves begging for food.
I got this camera bag for my birthday from my dad (picked it out myself though). I needed a new one that could fit both my camera and my extra lens. This one even fits two extra lenses and some extra stuff as well, so I am super happy with it!
I was cleaning out a box in my room when Disney suddenly started attacking it. Turns out this bead was in there, and she had no idea it was on the inside while she was on the outside.
I bought a pair of trousers for my Rey cosplay, but they ended up being way too short, so I decided to make them myself. I ordered this pattern and decided to add the middle one for Wanda and the right one because it’s a skirt with pockets (!!!!!) I really hope I’ll be able to figure out this pattern on my own, ha ha ha..
After taking this picture, I put the flower on her leash and she walked around with it for the rest of the afternoon.
We got some packages in the mail and one of them was addressed to me. I had no idea what it was because I wasn’t expecting any large packages (other than books, but this was obviously not a book). Turns out it was this inflatable coca cola bottle – I had bought a pack of candies from Haribo with a special code with which you could win inflatable things. I won and picked out this bottle. And there it was, suddenly, omg!
I thought this piece of pie looked like a face, so I had to make a picture of it. We celebrated my birthday and I was a bit sad to find out half of the people invited cancelled/didn’t show up. Oh well, more pie for me.
My entire DVD collection! I know it’s not much, compared to other people’s, but until a couple of years ago I hardly ever bought DVDs. And besides, most of these are second-hand buys, because honestly, I think DVD prices in my country are too high.
There was one wall in the cinema with only X-Men posters. Unfortunately, they have to send them all back to Fox, otherwise, I would have claimed both of these because look at iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!
We went to see Bastille Day with Idris Elba and Richard Madden, and it was quite a good movie (though a little bit predictable). Maybe I’ll post a review about it soon! And with this picture, we’ve come to the end of another Behind the Scenes post.
