Do you ever see a book that makes you think ‘yes I am going to buy this now’? Because of the cover, or the title, or perhaps because of the summary. A book that you haven’t heard any of your friends talk about, a book of which you haven’t seen any (positive) reviews from your favourite bloggers yet. I do this quite often because I think if you don’t do this, you won’t really find those hidden gems – books that turn out to be so amazing you’ll want to recommend it to everyone. This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about books you picked up on a whim – because the title appealed to you, because it was really cheap, or because the cover was so damn beautiful. Those with a * behind the title are books I haven’t read yet! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the people of The Broke and the Bookish.
