It’s May, my birthday month, and also another movie month! I’ve selected three movies I really want to see this month, and put them together in this post for you! Let’s have a look, shall we?

Bastille Day – 5 May

A young con artist and former CIA agent embark on an anti-terrorist mission in France. Directed by James Watkins. Cast: Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Kelly Reiley. Source: IMDB.

The trailer looks cool, and I think Idris Elba is amazing, so yeah I kind of want to see this!

X-Men: Apocalypse – 19 May

With the emergence of the world’s first mutant, Apocalypse, the X-Men must unite to defeat his extinction level plan. Directed by Bryan Singer. Cast: James Mcavoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Oscar Isaac, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn. Source: IMDB.

YES YES YES Give it to me! I will be celebrating my birthday at the X-Men marathon so I am super duper excited for this one! Also a tiny bit scared, to be honest.

Alice Through the Looking Glass – 28 May

Alice returns to the whimsical world of Wonderland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. Directed by James Bobin. Cast: Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen. Source: IMDB.

I loved the first movie in this series, and I simply cannot wait for this second part. I didn’t realise until I saw the trailer that this will probably be one of Alan Rickman’s last movies ever. *sad sigh*

Which movies are on your list this month?
