We’ve arrived at the end of another month, so it’s time for another Behind the Scenes post. This one is slightly mild, because I haven’t done that much in the latter part of April, mainly just catching up on sleep from HobbitCon, ha ha ha! Let’s check it out!
Disney was in heat, so she was being very nice to everything and I literally mean everything.
With the new X-Men movie coming out, movie magazine Empire created nine amazing covers which in total would create one large image (which you can see here). Because I am a huge fan of Quicksilver (and Scarlet Witch, but she’s not in this movie), I wanted the cover with Quicksilver on it. Luckily for me, it was the only cover my local store was selling, yay!
These were the first four movies we saw with our new Unlimited Gold card. I enjoyed all of them, though my favourite out of these four is definitely Jungle Book!
I hadn’t done anything to my bookshelves in a while, so I decided to reorganise them. There’s still some space for new books, but I do believe I’ll either have to start doublestacking, or I can get rid of my (on this picture blurred because messy room) mirror and put another bookshelf there. I’ll see!
It’s spring and that of course means ducklings! My friend loves them, so we went for a ride to see if we could find some. They were nine of them here, though I was told not to count them because that might hurt later on (because some of these will probably die). Anyway, I fed them some crackers and lured them out of the water which got us these incredible pictures!
I finally decided to buy the last Hobbit movie on DVD, the extended edition of course! I really feel like doing a Hobbit marathon very soon, and then I’ll also watch all those extra’s!
Our cinemas have these magazines that write about upcoming movies. They also sometimes have small movie posters in them, so I decided to go through a couple of old ones and rip out the posters for movies I enjoyed. (And the Terminator one mostly because Jai Courtney is on it).
These are all the authors I met at YALfest, and they were all so so lovely!
Ever since I saw The Force Awakens for the first time, I fell in love with tiny BB-8. I bought this phonecase for a little over a euro on Aliexpress!
I am going to do two new costumes for Amsterdam Comic Con, one character I have been talking about for ages (Wanda Maximoff, in her Civil War airport fight outfit) and one that is still a little bit of a secret. Maybe you can figure it out by looking at this picture. Maybe not. I’ll probably make a post very soon!
Stephanie Perkins, Becky Albertalli, Lucy Ivison, Tom Ellen, Arwen Elys Dayton, Tahereh Mafi and Ransom Riggs. All amazing authors and amazing people as well!
I have a glitter tattoo, yay!
We got a very cool goodie bag at YALfest, and I wasn’t the only one that really liked it!
There’s a new filter on snapchat, and it makes me look very pretty!
I wanted Disney to choose a team, but she didn’t want to and went for ‘Team Sleep’ instead. *sighs*
Wanda Maximoff and Natasha Romanoff were
not ready for Civil War! We were the only ones in costume for our marathon (I don’t know about the other marathon, but we didn’t see anyone else in costume in between the movies). We did get lots of compliments, and people actually wanted to take pictures with us! And with this we end April, the month of HobbitCon and Civil War.
