Bookshelf update 2016, part two!

Here is part two of my bookshelf update. I don’t just have the white Billy shelf in my room, but some other older shelves as well. I also have a different place where I store all my comics, DVD’s and magazines, which I will show you here as well. Maybe some day in the future I will make a video where I’ll show you all the books and stuff that I own, but for now let’s take a look at these pictures. You can find part one of this bookshelf update right here!

We begin with the top shelf, which houses a lot of my Dutch books, and basically just the books that didn’t fit anywhere else. I might find a different place or a different organisation to put them in, but for now they’re on this top shelf that I myself can barely reach (I mean you can see the ceiling in this picture that’s how high it is).

Then below that we have my two Harry Potter shelves. The first one has all my Harry Potter books in both Dutch and English. I am still missing Chamber of Secrets (De Geheime Kamer) in Dutch, but I might get it somewhere secondhand. I have Deathly Hallows on display because it is signed by both Alan Rickman and Daniel Radcliffe. Then there is my Hermione Granger funko, and I am definitely planning on adding more Harry Potter funko’s to my collection. In front of that are my Luna Lovegood and Voldemort wands!

On the shelf below is my illustrated edition of Harry Potter. This isn’t going to be its permanent spot, but I just had no idea where else to put it, so it’s there. Then there’s all my non-fiction Harry Potter books, and the three ‘school’ books, Tales of Beedle the Bard, Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. And my old copies of The Hunger Games, that I still need to put somewhere else (or sell.. Anyone interested?)

Over the years I have started collecting more DVD’s. These are double stacked, so there’s lots more behind – mostly my Harry Potter DVD’s, some VHS tapes that I don’t want to get rid of and other DVD’s I didn’t find that important to put up front. My most priced DVD’s are the extended editions of The Hobbit, seen here on the far right!

Below that are more Non-fiction books, some Keri Smith books, my Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy boxset and all my graphic novels and comics. Most of them are Marvel, but I’ve got a couple of Lord of the Rings comics, an Artemis Fowl one, two Avatar the Last Airbender comics and a lot of single Star Wars comics!

Here we have all the magazines that I deemed worthy to keep – mostly Empires as you can see, and some Doctor Who magazines, SFX magazines and other ones. I also have my other two boxsets – The Kane Chronicles and the Lord of the Rings here. And a colouring book!

And last but not least is ‘the rest’ of my collection. The Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books on the right are actually my sister’s, but so far she hasn’t asked them back so I guess I can keep them. Furthermore I have some Doctor Who and Torchwood yeearbooks, some Dutch books, a photography book and my Doctor Who Experience booklet!

And that’s all for my updated bookshelves! Let me know if you would like to see a video of this, and maybe I’ll make one in the future (perhaps at the end of this year/beginning of the next).

What does your bookshelf look like?
