It’s November, which means NaNoWriMo – short for National Novel Writing Month. I have decided to participate again, but I am not sure if I’m going to make the 50.000 words this year. Because November is also the month in which I still work five days a week. And usually, when I get home, I either go to see a movie or go to bed early because I need to get up just as early the next morning.
But yeah, I still have this massive idea in my head that I just want to write out, so I think that’s just going to be my project this year. It’s a shame you can’t lower the wordcount on NaNo like you can do with Camp NaNo. Anyway, I’ve got this cool Iron Man notebook that I’ll be filling this month.
I’m not going to tell you what my story is going to be about, because honestly I don’t really know myself. It started as a sort of Marvel fanfiction thing in my head (hence the Iron Man notebook (no okay that’s just a coincidence)), but I think I’m going to make it into something different after November.
Let’s just say that the main character of this story is an Inhuman and she has to deal with her new powers in this story.
I am very excited to write everything down that I’ve had in my head for a couple of months now. I’ll try to update you through twitter, and I’ll also write a wrap-up post at the end of the month, where I’ll also reveal how many words I’ve actually written. So I’ll see you then! Let’s be NaNo buddies!
