It’s Saturday, and I am bored. So I decided to make some pictures. At first, I’d wanted to make pictures of my newly re-organised bookshelves (oops, I did it again); but then I decided to go and make some of all the books I’d bought in 2014. (Trust me, I regret it now. Having to look up which books I had bought, looking where they were on my shelves, putting them on the piles on my bed without having them fall over. Ugh). Anyway, here they are, the fifty books that I’d bought (or gotten) in 2014!

Like I said, I have fifty books in total. That would mean that on average I bought about 4 books a month (of course I didn’t do that. There were two months in which I bought no real book at all, except for some graphic novels which I don’t really count as a real book). Anyway, here are the books I bought, from the first row to the last row – top to bottom:

First row: Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, Percy Jackson & the Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan, Lies by Michael Grant, Just One Year by Gayle Forman, Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake, The Radleys/Een Ongewone Familie by Matt Haig, The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey, Four by Veronica Roth, The Blessed by Tonya Hurley, Witch World by Christoper Pike, The Trials of the Core by Michael E. Thies, Changeling by Philippa Gregory, 30-Second Mythology by, The Lord of the Rings Graphic Novels by J.R.R. Third row: Doctor Who: Only Human by Gareth Roberts, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo, Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas, Say Her Name by James Dawson, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, Grimm’s Fairy Tales by The Brothers Grimm, The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns by Chris Colfer, Runelight and Runemarks (in opposite order) by Joanne Harris, Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, Percy Jackson: The Demigod Files by Rick Riordan, House of Ivy and Sorrow by Natalie Whipple, Cress by Marissa Meyer, This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales, Unhinged by A.G. Howard.

So those are the books I have gotten in 2014. (There is one that I couldn’t find at the moment of making the pictures, and guess what, literally two seconds after putting all the books back on my shelves, and editing the pictures on my computer, I found it. The Big Book of Mythologies (as I liked to call it)). Out of these, there are two that I received from other people (they are in bold), and twelve I still need to read (in italics). Which books did you buy in 2014? Do you like making lists or pictures of all the books you’ve received in a year? Let me know in the comments!
