Top Ten Dutch Books I Want to Read This Year

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bloghop created by the people from The Broke and the Bookish, it has you making a top ten of (mostly) books with a different subject each week. This week it’s a freebie so I am going to talk about the Dutch books I want to read this year. I have decided to read at least one Dutch book each month, and I thought it might be nice to make a list of the books that I am planning on reading in the other eleven months of this year. I’ll add the English titles if they’re available.

2001-1

De Vloek van de Schaduw // Shadow Prowler by Alexey Pehov
Het Verloren Boek van Salem // The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe
Tweedehands Vleugels by Vanessa Gerrits
Onsterfelijk // Origin by Jessica Khoury
Zes Seconden by Daniëlle Bakhuis

2001-2

De Tweeling // The Twins by Tessa de Loo
De Wandelhoer by Iny Lorentz
Taal Is Zeg Maar Echt Mijn Ding & En Dan Nog Iets by Paulien Cornelisse
De Zaterdag van het Onweer by Martine Glaser

And here we go, the ten Dutch books I would love to read this year. I already own four of these, and I will hopefully be able to buy the other books as soon as possible. And if you, as a Dutchie, have some great titles to recommend to me, be my guest and leave a comment (or send me a tweet)!
