WWW & Waiting On Wednesday (7/01)

Yes, I know it’s Thursday already but I forgot to post this yesterday and so I decided to post it today. Let’s all just pretend it’s still Wednesday. Anyway, this is the first WWW & WOW post of 2015, yay! WWW Wednesday is a weekly bloghop created by MizB from Should be Reading. In this bloghop, you answer three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish; What do you think you’ll read next. Here are my answers for this week!

wewereliarsWhat are you currently reading? I am currently reading We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, and I honestly don’t really get why people loved this book so much. I mean personally I am leaning more towards a three star rating at the moment, or two-and-a-half (not that you can give half stars on Goodreads but still). But maybe the second half of the book is better, I don’t know..

I am also reading Witch World by Christopher Pike, though I haven’t read much of it, mainly because I’ve been busy reading the first book. Oh well, I’ll probably read it after I finish WWL.

What did you recently finish? I finished two books this year already, The Radleys by Matt Haig of which I will probably not write a review (I didn’t like it very much). And Slated by Teri Terry which I LOVED. I’ve written a review about it and posted it here on my blog.

What do you think you’ll read next? Ensnared by A.G. Howard hopefully. I pre-ordered it at my local bookstore and I hope I’ll be able to pick it up next week or maybe the week after (but hopefully next week). Or perhaps Fractured, which is the second book in the Slated series by Teri Terry because I just need to know how the story goes on!

Waiting On Wednesday is a bloghop created by Jill from Breaking the Spine. It has you talking about (not yet released) books that you can’t wait to get your hands on.

Title: Fairest
Series: The Lunar Chronicles #0.1
Author: Marissa Meyer
Release Date: 27 January 2015

In this stunning bridge book between Cress and Winter in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles, Queen Levana’s story is finally told.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?

Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her “glamour” to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story – a story that has never been told . . . until now.

Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death. This extraordinary book includes full-color art and an excerpt from Winter, the next book in the Lunar Chronicles series.

Why am I waiting on this book?: Okay I may have posted this before already, but I just can’t wait for Fairest! I have read the first chapter already because it was available on the internet somewhere, and though I am really scared this book will try to make us feel sorry for Levana, I am really excited to read it and I can’t wait to get my hands on it, whieeee!
