WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (25/06)

13519397WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | I am reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas at the moment, and I am really enjoying it. Haven’t read a lot since I started it, because I was reading/finishing another book at the same time, oh well.. I’m going to concentrate on ToG now!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | Since last time, I finished three books. Runelight by Joanne Harris, which I loved a lot. I posted my review right here. I also finished To Know Me by Marcy Blesy which I didn’t really like at all, which you can read in my review. And I started and finished House of Ivy and Sorrow by Natalie Whipple. I will post my review of that book tomorrow.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | I think after I finish, or at least get halfway through, Throne of Glass, I’ll start Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo if it’s arrived by that time (I hope so). I can’t wait to get started in that book, mostly because everyone loves it so much!

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

Chris Colfer's THE LAND OF STORIESTitle: The Enchantress Returns (Goodreads)
Series: The Land of Stories #2
Author: Chris Colfer
Release date: 6 August 2013

After decades of hiding, the evil Enchantress who cursed Sleeping Beauty is back with a vengeance.

Alex and Conner Bailey have not been back to the magical Land of Stories since their adventures in The Wishing Spell ended. But one night, they learn the famed Enchantress has kidnapped their mother! Against the will of their grandmother, the twins must find their own way into the Land of Stories to rescue their mother and save the fairy tale world from the greatest threat it’s ever faced.

Back when I was still a fan of Glee, I got very excited when I heard that Chris Colfer (aka Curt on Glee) was going to write a children’s book. When The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell came out in my country, I rushed to get myself a copy. And I loved it to bits! Book two was announced fairly quickly after I’d read the first one, only the problem was that it was only released as a hardcover at that time, while I had a paperback of TWS, so I decided to wait until the paperback release. The paperback will come out in about a week, around the same date as book number three. Anyway, I can’t wait to get my hands on this book!

What are you reading, what did you recently finish, what do you want to start reading, and what’s the first book on your wishlist? Share your answers in a comment (a link to your blog or just your answers if you don’t have a blog)!
