WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (05/02)

www wednesday1WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

24WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | I am reading Unhinged by A.G. Howard. I really like what I’ve read so far, though I’m also really annoyed by a certain character. I am also reading The Medea Complex by Rachel Roberts. It’s quite an easy read, so I hope to finish it soon!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | I finished Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, and posted my review here. I also read all three novella’s in the Lunar Chronicles series, Glitches, The Queen’s Army and The Little Android, by Marissa Meyer.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | When I’m finished with The Medea Complex, I am going to reread the Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I wanted to reread Divergent before the movie comes out next month, but a friend of mine has my copy so that’s not going to work. After that, I’ll probably start with Cress by Marissa Meyer.

wishlist wednesday

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

21Title: Ignite Me (Goodreads)
Series: Shatter Me #3
Author: Tahereh Mafi
Release date: 4 February 2014

The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, bestselling author of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, called “a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love”

Juliette now knows she may be the only one who can stop the Reestablishment. But to take them down, she’ll need the help of the one person she never thought she could trust: Warner. And as they work together, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew-about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam-was wrong.

In Shatter Me, Tahereh Mafi created a captivating and original story that combined the best of dystopian and paranormal and was praised by Publishers Weekly as “a gripping read from an author who’s not afraid to take risks.” The sequel, Unravel Me, blew readers away with heart-racing twists and turns, and New York Times bestselling author Kami Garcia said it was “dangerous, sexy, romantic, and intense.” Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and climactic end.

I have to admit, I still haven’t read the sequel, Unravel Me, but I am very excited for this book. I just really liked Shatter Me, and I expect Unravel Me and Ignite Me will be just as amazing (I’ve read some reviews for the last book and everyone’s very excited about it). So that is why this book is on my wishlist.
