WWW & Wishlist Wednesday (25/12)

Wishlist WednesdayWWW Wednesday is a weekly meme organized by MizB from Should Be Reading. It has you answering the following three questions: What are you currently reading; What did you recently finish and What do you think you’ll read next? To see my previous WWW Wednesday posts, just click this link and it’ll take you to the right page!

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING? | I am still reading Halloween: Magic, Mystery and the Macabre by Paula Guran; and Just One Day by Gayle Foreman. I have also read a couple of sentences of The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien, but I am probably going to properly read it after Christmas, or perhaps in the new year.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH? | The last book I finished (or rather didn’t) was City of Glass by Cassandra Clare. I ended up reading it until the part where ‘Part Two’ ended, and I couldn’t get myself to continue reading, though my friend’s just told me that it gets more exciting in Part Three, but I am not even going to try it anymore.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT? | Like I said, after Christmas, I am going to start the Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien!

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop hosted by Pen to Paper, where I’ll post about one book per week that has been on my wishlist for some time, or just added, that I can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto my shelves.

17165913Title: The Shade of the Moon (Goodreads)
Series: The Last Survivors
Author: Susan Beth Pfeffer
Release date: 2014 (paperback)

It’s been more than two years since Jon Evans and his family left Pennsylvania, hoping to find a safe place to live, yet Jon remains haunted by the deaths of those he loved. His prowess on a soccer field has guaranteed him a home in a well-protected enclave. But Jon is painfully aware that a missed goal, a careless word, even falling in love, can put his life and the lives of his mother, his sister Miranda, and her husband, Alex, in jeopardy. Can Jon risk doing what is right in a world gone so terribly wrong?

The hardcover version was released in 2013 already, but my previous three copies are all paperbacks, so I wanted to wait until the paperback version of this book came out. I can’t wait to read this fourth and final part, because I just want to read more about this world. And I just love this cover, oh my god, the moon and the colours, oh wow, I want to have this book so badly!

What are you reading, what did you recently finish, what do you want to start reading, and what’s the first book on your wishlist? Share your answers in a comment (a link to your blog or just your answers if you don’t have a blog)!
