Behind the Scenes

Wrap-Up: December 2017

With December at its end, it’s time for another wrap-up post! December was, of course, the month of Christmas, where I got lots of great presents! I’ll show you what I got, what other things I got this month, and of course all the books I bought and read this month!

Books bought, received

At the beginning of this month, I decided I was just going to buy the Percy Jackson box set that I had asked for Christmas for three years prior. I never got it, because my mum usually already had a bunch of things planned for me. So this year, I ended up buying it myself. Then, Bol.com announced a huge Harry Potter discount – which meant this amazing hardcover box set was on sale for €69 (the normal price is €135). Of course I had to buy it! And I am 100% Coco trash so I needed these little books.

Other things bought, received

These are things I bought myself or got from my mum. I got the amazing potion lights from Primark, and some Harry Potter bunting. I also got three new Funko Pop, some cookies, some ambi pur things and a Zelda Breath of the Wild iPhone case.

I also bought some great glittery Christmas things, a nice green dress, a warm scarf, a Slytherin jumper and a cat-pouch jumper! My cats don’t love it, but they’re also not exactly struggling to get out of it…

And this is what I got for Christmas! I finally got a Chip mug, I have an amazing Harry Potter box with a notebook, a pen and two bottles… So many amazing things! This is not everything I got, though, because some things are downstairs (including a Darth Vader ice cube tray and some Piña Colada mix).

Next month

Next month is January – a fresh start. It’s also the month where my big Disney rewatch is starting, and I’m starting the year with the 5 oldest Disney movies ever made. I’ve made a list on Letterboxd where you can see all the movies I’m planning to watch throughout the year. As for books, I am planning on reading 75 books for my Goodreads reading challenge – I know I will definitely make that, but I just felt like doing something new this time. There are plenty of great books coming out in 2018 that I am super excited about!

Want to read: Zenith, Wires and Nerve vol. 1, Wires and Nerve vol. 2, Warcross, Batman: Nightwalker
Want to see: The Greatest Showman, The Death Cure, Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, Bambi

I hope you have a wonderful New Year’s Eve, and I’ll see you all in 2018!
