October Movies I Want to See

I can’t believe we’re almost at the end of the year already! October is another month full of new movie releases, and I’ve listed the three movies I’m most definitely looking forward to.

The Mountain Between Us – 16 October

Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across the wilderness. Cast: Idris Elba, Kate Winslet. IMDB.

According to the Pathé website, this movie comes out at the end of October, but I’m already seeing it on the 16th as a Pathé Unlimited night. I don’t really know what this movie is about other than that Idris Elba and Kate Winslet are in it, and that they crash with a plane. Oh well, I’ll let myself be surprised I guess.

Loving Vincent – 26 October

A feature film about the life and mysterious death of Vincent Van Gogh. Cast: Aidan Turner, Saoirse Ronan, Eleanor Tomlinson, Helen McCrory, Chris O’Dowd. IMDB.

I saw a trailer for this about a year ago or something, but after that, I didn’t find any information about it, until I saw it between the movies releasing this year. It’s a film created completely in the style of how Vincent van Gogh painted. It also has a great cast, so I can’t wait to see this movie (though I’m a bit scared of how they’re going to pronounce his name).

Thor: Ragnarok – 26 October

Imprisoned, the mighty Thor finds himself in a lethal gladiatorial contest against the Hulk, his former ally. Thor must fight for survival and race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home and the Asgardian civilization. Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Tessa Thompson, Cate Blanchett, Anthony Hopkins. IMDB.

Y.E.S. It’s finally time! AHHHHHHH! My favourite Avenger is finally coming back with another movie! Honestly, I am a little bit scared because the movie is called Ragnarok, and I know what happened in the actual mythological Ragnarok… fingers crossed
