May Movies I Want to See

It’s May, the month in which I turn twenty-five. The month in which exams start in my country. And another month with a lot of new movie releases. I’m going to tell you the May movies I really want to see!

The Circle – 11 May

A woman lands a dream job at a powerful tech company called the Circle, only to uncover a nefarious agenda that will affect the lives of her friends, family and that of humanity. Cast: Emma Watson, Tom Hanks, John Boyega, Karen Gillan. IMDB.

I had kind of wanted to read the book before seeing the movie, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to do that. I do have it on my TBR for this month, so maybe I’ll just start it and see how far I’ll come. Probably not even going to see this on the day it comes out, but still, I want to see it asap. Because this movie has some of my favourite actors of all time (Emma and John, if you’re wondering), and I want to see them in a movie together!

King Arthur – 11 May

Robbed of his birthright, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy – whether he likes it or not. Cast: Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Katie McGrath,  Poppy Delevingne,  Aidan Gillen. IMDB.

I’ve always been kind of interested in the King Arthur story, though I’ve not read or seen much about it. Still, this movie looks very interesting and I am definitely going to check it out. Especially because I can’t remember seeing Jude Law as anything other than John Watson.

A Dog’s Purpose – 18 May

A dog looks to discover his purpose in life over the course of several lifetimes and owners. Cast: Dennis Quaid, Josh Gad, Britt Robertson, Peggy Lipton, K.J. Apa. IMDB.

This movie has dogs. And Josh Gad. I saw a trailer for this before Beauty and the Beast and I am really curious about it, so yes. Also, it comes out on my birthday. Win/win.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge – 25 May

Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artefact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas. Cast: Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush, Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites. IMDB.

YES. PIRATES. When I found out this movie would be the return of both Will ánd Elizabeth I was incredibly happy. They also cast Adam Brown, who’s such a cutie, and I am curious what is role will be in the movie. And yes, just give me all the Cpt. Jack Sparrow. Pls.
