Ten Books I Didn’t Love As Much as I’d Hoped

Have you ever picked up a book that you expected to love completely but ended up not loving at all? Today I will share with you ten books I picked up, expecting to enjoy a lot, but didn’t. I missed this subject last week, but because TTT is officially on a hiatus until March, I decided to just pick last week’s subject! Now, I’m not saying I hated all these books; I just didn’t love them as much as I had loved previous books in the series or previous books by the author. Something like that. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth
And I Darken by Kiersten White
The Cursed Child by John Tiffany and Jack Thorne

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
Paper Towns by John Green
The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee

Hunger by Michael Grant
The Shade of the Moon by Susan Beth Pfeffer
The 100 by Kass Morgan
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

Which books did you not enjoy as much as you’d hoped?
