We’re less than a week into July, and of course it’s time for another ‘movies I want to see’ post. Again, there aren’t a lot of movies I am super excited for, but I did manage to find a couple more that sounded interesting. Let’s start with the one I am most excited for… Spider-Man: Homecoming – 6 July Several months after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker, with the help of his mentor Tony Stark, tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens, New York City while fighting crime as his superhero alter […]

Trailer: Flatliners

Today, the first trailer for the upcoming remake (or sequel? I’m not sure now) of Flatliners was released. I have not seen the original movie, nor do I know much about the storyline, but the cast is what made me interested in this movie. After seeing the trailer, I am definitely intrigued, and I think I might go and see this when it comes out. Medical students experiment on “near death” experiences that involve past tragedies until the dark consequences begin to jeopardize their lives. Cast: Nina Dobrev, Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Kiersey Clemons, James Norton, Kiefer Sutherland. Genre: Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi. The movie, of course, features the character that was introduced in Civil War and introduces a bunch more characters from Wakanda. I am very excited for this movie and enjoyed this teaser a lot! T’Challa, the new ruler of the advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must defend his land from being torn apart by enemies from outside and inside the country. Cast: Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis. IMDB. Black Panther will be released in February next year!

Trailer: Coco

Yesterday, Disney Pixar released the full trailer for their upcoming movie Coco. I am very excited for this movie, though I am also a little bit afraid I might compare it to The Book of Life too much. As they are both movies about the Day of the Dead, based in Mexico and apparently involving a boy and a guitar, at first I thought this was Disney’s attempt at recreating one of my favourite movies. Still, after seeing this trailer, I am very excited and will definitely see this movie in theaters! Coco follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who […]

June Movies I Want to See

I almost forgot about this post, partly because there aren’t a lot of movies I really want to see this month. But yeah, there’s still two of them, so I decided to still make this post. The Mummy – 8 June An ancient princess is awakened from her crypt beneath the desert, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia, and terrors that defy human comprehension. Cast: Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella,  Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis. IMDB. I have honestly never seen the old movie, but maybe I am going to do that soon, but I really want to see this one because it looks a bit […]

Trailer: Murder on the Orient Express

Today, the first trailer for the upcoming movie Murder on the Orient Express was released. It’s based on the book by Agatha Christie and features an amazing cast. I have never read the book, nor have I watched any movies based on it, but this one intrigued me, mainly due to the cast. A lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into the thrilling mystery of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again. Cast: Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penélope Cruz, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad, Willem Dafoe, […]
