My Harry Potter Life Tag

It’s been a while since I’ve done a tag, and so I decided to pick up the ‘My Harry Potter Life’ tag. It was created by Michelle from The Writing Hufflepuff and you basically pick four books and follow the instructions to determine what your life at Hogwarts is like. The books I picked 1. Your Wand Open book 1 at a random page, the first noun you see will be what your wand is made of. The first noun I saw in Cress was ‘songs’, so that’s what my wand is made of. No idea how that’s going to […]

All Books I Bought in 2016

Last year I made a post where I shared all the physical books I had purchased and received throughout the year, and this year I decided to torture myself by doing the same thing for 2016. Italicized titles are ones I’ve read. Growing Pains | Night Film | De Afstand Tussen Jou en Mij | The Thousandth Floor | Zie Me, Hoor Me | The Death Cure | Red Rising | Sweep vol. 2 | The Rest of Us Just Live Here | Last Sacrifice | Passenger | End of Days | Parallel | De Ruïnes van Gorlan | Monsters of Men […]

Winter Wonderland Book Tag

I thought it was about time I did another book tag! I found this via Regan from PeruseProject on YouTube. It’s a Wintery themed tag, of course, and has six questions! Let’s go… 1. What book is so happy and sweet that it warms your heart? I think the Anna and the French Kiss books by Stephanie Perkins are pretty sweet and happy. And Just One Day/Just One Year by Gayle Forman were really heart warming as well! 2. What is your favourite book with a white cover? My Throne of Glass books by Sarah J. Maas all have white […]

This or That Book Tag

I found this This or That book tag on Northern Plunder a while back, and decided I wanted to do it too! Basically, you get two options, and you have to choose which one you prefer. Reading on the couch or on the bed? Hmm, honestly I’d prefer my bed. Because when I’m on the couch, downstairs, there is always someone either talking to me, or humming or whistling, and there’s always noise coming from the TV or the radio and I just cannot concentrate. So yes, my bed. Male main character or female main character? I really don’t care at […]

Boekenfestijn 2016 Haul

This weekend, it’s time for the annual Boekenfestijn again, in Utrecht that is. Boekenfestijn has been around for years, and it’s traveling throughout both the Netherlands and Belgium for the entire year. In September, it arrives in Utrecht, the location closest to where I live. I’ve been there last year, and the year before as well! This year, I decided to go with a couple of friends of mine, instead of with my mum, and I bought another pile of amazing books. I didn’t really make a list at all this year, though I did look for one particular trilogy. […]

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag

A while back I found this book tag on Tumblr and decided I wanted to fill it in on my blog as well. I don’t remember whose blog I got it from, but the original tag was created by ReadLikeWildfire and Ely Jayne on YouTube, so check them out! Okay, let’s go. Books read so far: 52 Goal for 2016: 100 1. Best book you’ve read so far this year: Gods, ehm I don’t think I’ll be able to pick just one book, so I’m going to go for my favourite graphic novel ánd favourite book. My favourite graphic novel is definitely Volume 3 of the Ms. […]

Book Blogger Memory Tag

I was browsing the internet and came across this book tag. The rule is, you must think of a book without looking it up on the internet or your bookshelf. Let’s see how much I can remember, okay? The links to Goodreads and the pictures were of course added/taken after I had filled in the tag, though I can not prove this to you of course, you’ll just have to believe my word! NAME A BOOK WRITTEN BY AN AUTHOR CALLED MICHAEL The Gone series was written by Michael Grant, as well as The Trials of the Core which was […]

Bookshelf update 2016, part two!

Here is part two of my bookshelf update. I don’t just have the white Billy shelf in my room, but some other older shelves as well. I also have a different place where I store all my comics, DVD’s and magazines, which I will show you here as well. Maybe some day in the future I will make a video where I’ll show you all the books and stuff that I own, but for now let’s take a look at these pictures. You can find part one of this bookshelf update right here! We begin with the top shelf, which houses […]
