How to: Scarlet Witch headpiece

In April last year, I cosplayed Wanda Maximoff, or Scarlet Witch, for the first time during the Avengers marathon. I honestly loved her outfit from the movie so much, and I ended up loving her character as well. I’ve been improving her outfit more and more throughout the past year, and then I decided I wanted to do a comic inspired outfit as well. Cosplay: Wanda Maximoff part two

Back in January/February I saw some pictures of Wanda Maximoff in Age of Ultron, and decided I wanted to cosplay her. I didn’t know anything about the character, other than the fact that she has a twin brother (Pietro), but I loved her outfit in the movie so much, that I just decided to go for it. I bought a red jacket, made some bracers out of a black piece of fabric and wore it to the Age of Ultron midnight premiere in Amsterdam. When I heard they were going to put the Maximoff twins in the new Avengers movie, my first reaction was ‘who the hell are the Maximoff twins?’, because I hadn’t read any of the comics and I just had no idea who they were. Then I found out they are the children of Erik Lehnsherr, aka Magneto from X-Men and I decided to look up the characters. Cosplaying, some of you might know what it means; but for those who don’t, here’s a quick explanation: Cosplaying is basically dressing up as a character from your favourite book, tv show, or movie (for ex.
