Behind the Scenes

Wrap-up: June 2017

Ok, even though I haven’t really posted in the past couple of weeks, I did want to make a wrap-up post, partly so I can maybe just make a fresh start in July. I’ve been thinking about revamping my blog in the future, adding some new features and hopefully post a lot more in the upcoming months, but for now, I’m just going to do lots of things behind the scenes (literally). Anyway, for now, we’re going to wrap up June! Books, funkos and other things I bought Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (20th Anniversary Slytherin Edition) by J.K. Rowling – I am so …

Behind the Scenes #34

This Behind the Scenes post will be full of a month’s worth of pictures, though it’s still not a lot. I didn’t do a lot of things this month, because of things. But yeah, I still have 26 pictures to show you. And from this month I will try to keep it up biweekly! L: The weather was warming up, so the Sphynx cats came outside again! They are so cute, and this one literally walks with me until I get back on my bike or in the car. R: A new restaurant opened next to our cinema, so naturally we had to try it out. Their menu …

I am in a reading/blogging/everything slump

Yeah well, you probably noticed I haven’t blogged in a while. I haven’t posted a Behind the Scenes post around the 15th and I haven’t posted any reviews in a while. Partly because I am in a kind of reading/review writing slump, and partly because my head is just in a weird place. I’ve been thinking, how much use is it to keep blogging if hardly anyone reads it? So yeah, no blogs, reviews or anything from me lately. Then again, I don’t want to give up this blog/URL so if I’m not going to blog anymore, what should I do with this domain? I have no …

Wrap-up: May 2017

Aaaaaand poof another month is over. May was my birthday month, and as you probably saw in my Behind the Scenes post. I also purchased and received some really cool things and books this month, kind of breaking my ‘buy not more than three books a month’ ban. Oh well, next month! Books bought, received The Screaming Staircase by Jonathan Stroud – A friend of mine was getting rid of some books via Facebook a while back, and I was interested in this book. She kept it aside for me until we saw each other again, which was at her birthday party this month. The Book of Life …

Behind the Scenes #33

Aaaaaaaand we’re at the end of another month! May was a nice month, where I turned 25 and had some friends over. I had a lot of pizza and Pokémon Go had an amazing event going on! Let’s take a look at the second half of May! L: The dress I ordered for Queenie arrived, and it’s perfect! I just need the dress she wears underneath and then my cosplay is 100% complete. (Ok I need to curl this wig but I need my sister’s help for that). R: I got a present from my mum and sister for my birthday. My mum wrapped it in this Avengers paper which …

Behind the Scenes #32

We’re halfway through May, and that, of course, means a couple of things. I’m turning twenty-five in three days, it’s almost June, and of course, it’s time for another Behind the Scenes post! L: Disney’s been getting all the attention lately, so the other cats have been feeling a bit left out, I guess. So some extra attention to our little grandma! R: My dad turned 57 this year, so we went out for sushi with the whole family. L: Rainbow books! I realised, while collecting books for this photo, that I hardly have any orange books. There are literally two books on my shelves that are fully orange. The rest …

Oh wow, I can’t believe April is almost over already! This month, I went to London for the first time in my life and my cat finally gave birth to a bunch of adorable kittens! Anderson The Graces by Laure Eve Replica by Lauren Oliver The Young Elites by Marie Lu All the Feels by Danika Stone Babydoll by Holly Overton Caraval by Stephanie Garber Ehm, yeah oops?
