Wrap-Up: September 2017

September is almost over, which means we need to wrap things up! I have kind of picked up blogging again this month, but I do need to work on my reviewing skills. I reviewed one book I finished this month, though technically it’s the only review-able book I have read this month. Anyway, let’s wrap things up because even though I hardly read any books this month, I did buy a lot of stuff. Oops? Books I bought, received Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them DVD The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan Tower of …

Behind the Scenes #38

And we’re at the end of another month! I decided not to do a BTS post halfway through the month, seeing as it was too close to the previous one and I didn’t really have any pictures to show. But at the end of the month, I managed to scrape together some pictures to make it seem as if I did some actual stuff this past month… Let’s take a look at September through pictures! I received this Kate Bishop suit in the mail, but I’m going to resell it because it doesn’t fit me well enough. I’ve decided to just buy a regular morph …

Tag: Tolkien Book Tag

I found this Tolkien (Book) Tag on someone’s blog a while ago, copied it to my own blog and promptly forgot to finish and post it. Obviously, I also forgot where I got the tag from, but I really wanted to fill it in! HOW DID YOUR MIDDLE EARTH JOURNEY BEGIN? I think it was around the time the first or second Lord of the Rings movie had just come out. I was really interested in seeing it, but my older sister thought I’d be too scared of the Nazgûl, so she told me I couldn’t watch them. Obviously, I didn’t listen to them, and …

Behind the Scenes #37

Another two weeks have passed since I posted my last Behind the Scenes post, and even though it’s only two posts down, I decided to make another BTS post, because more stuff had happened recently. So yeah, here we are with BTW post number 37. The best feeling in the world is when you sit down on the couch, reading one of your favourite books and your cat decides to lie down against you. I had heart-eyes all the way! I had to watch two cats, belonging to a friend of my mum’s, and this was Bonny – the grumpy cat of the family. My goal …

Wrap-Up: July & August 2017

Alright, I have been very absent these past two months, but I’m trying my best to get back onto the blogging train. Starting with a wrap-up post, for both July and August! And it’s going to be a lot because I acquired a lot of things in these months. So without further ado, let’s get started. Books bought, received I’m going to start off with the books I got when I was on Lanzarote. I found this little English bookstore that had a lot of second-hand books and I bought most of these books there. I also got myself a Spanish copy of a Harry Potter …

Behind the Scenes #36

Yes, I’m still alive. I have not been feeling like blogging at all since I came back from Lanzarote, but I am slowly picking it up again. Trying to write better/shorter reviews so I can blog more in the future and just thinking about new things I could post on my blog. Anyway, today I’m going to share some pictures from the past three-or-so weeks. I got these Funkos from EMP/Large, and there was a 1/10 chance of getting a Frodo Chase. Guess what I got. (I do still secretly want the normal version as well). Tanja invited me over for dinner, and we made …

Behind the Scenes #35

Remember when I said I was going to pick up blogging again? Well, I failed, but at least I remembered to put up a Behind the Scenes post. This time I’m sharing the first two weeks of July, which honestly have been rather uneventful. But still, I managed to put together a bunch of pictures to show to you this time! L: I put together a rainbow TBR this month, even though I am pretty sure I won’t be reading all these books. So far, I’ve only started The Diabolic and the month is already halfway done. Oh well, one day I will read every book on my …
