Top Ten Book Characters With Brown Eyes

Do you have brown eyes? Do you often read books and wonder ‘why do all the main characters either have blue or green eyes’? Then I can tell you, you’re not alone! I have brown eyes. My sisters both have brown eyes. And I really wish there were more characters in books that have brown eyes. So I decided that for today’s Top Ten, I would make a list of characters with brown eyes! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme organised by The Broke and the Bookish. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter) Linh Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles) June Iparis (Legend) Melanie Stryder (The Host) Christina (Divergent) Lena …

A couple of days ago, a teaser trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation of The Death Cure was released. Trailer: Peter Rabbit (2018)

Today, a trailer for the upcoming remake of Peter Rabbit was released. I don’t remember if I’ve ever read the books, or if I’ve ever fully watched the old series, but I do own a VHS with Peter Rabbit on it. Still, I am very excited for this movie, especially after seeing this short teaser. Feature adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s classic tale of a rebellious rabbit trying to sneak into a farmer’s vegetable garden. Cast: James Corden, Domhnall Gleeson, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki, Margot Robbie, Rose Byrne. IMDB. Peter Rabbit will be released in April 2018

Trailer: Tomb Raider (2018)

When I was a kid, I used to be obsessed with this Tomb Raider game. I hardly did anything in the real game, but mostly spent my time around the house, avoiding the butler. I never really picked up on the movies, but recently I heard the news they were making one with Alicia Vikander playing Lara. Today, a trailer for the movie was released. Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared. Cast: Alicia Vikander, Walton Goggins, Hannah John-Kamen, Dominic West, Daniel Wu. IMDB.  Tomb Raider will be released in March 2018

Ten Books I Read When I First Started Blogging

Yes, hello, I am finally doing a Top Ten Tuesday again! I haven’t been in the mood to do these in a while, but I thought now would be a good time to start it up again. This day, it’s a throwback, and as the girls from TBaTB decided to talk about books they read when they started blogging, I decided to copy them and talk about books I read in 2012. Before that, my life basically was about reading books for school and occasionally re-reading Harry Potter, but I didn’t pick up reading until around the time The Hunger Games movie came out. So …

Tag: Tolkien Book Tag

I found this Tolkien (Book) Tag on someone’s blog a while ago, copied it to my own blog and promptly forgot to finish and post it. Obviously, I also forgot where I got the tag from, but I really wanted to fill it in! HOW DID YOUR MIDDLE EARTH JOURNEY BEGIN? I think it was around the time the first or second Lord of the Rings movie had just come out. I was really interested in seeing it, but my older sister thought I’d be too scared of the Nazgûl, so she told me I couldn’t watch them. Obviously, I didn’t listen to them, and …
