Marvel decided to treat us with another Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, which made me even more excited for the movie. I had no idea that was even possible, but here’s the proof! Wrap-Up: February 2017

February is over and done, and naturally it’s time for another wrap-up! I am starting to get really good at the not buying more than three books a month thing, because I didn’t buy that many at all! Partly because I had a spontaneous trip to Berlin planned that required me to not spend too much money on other stuff. So yes, let’s wrap up February, shall we? Books bought, received Physical Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer The Rose Society by Marie Lu Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer I bought Wires and Nerve and The Rose Society from the […]

Ten Books I Didn’t Love As Much as I’d Hoped

Have you ever picked up a book that you expected to love completely but ended up not loving at all? Today I will share with you ten books I picked up, expecting to enjoy a lot, but didn’t. I missed this subject last week, but because TTT is officially in a hiatus until March, I decided to just pick last week’s subject! Now, I’m not saying I hated all these books; I just didn’t love them as much as I had loved previous books in the series or previous books by the author. Something like that. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The […]

Behind the Scenes #27

And just like that, February is over! The last part of this month was very excited, because I went on a spontaneous trip to Berlin. They also finally released Gen 2 in Pokémon Go (though I don’t have any pictures of that in this post, oh well) and maybe, just maybe, we’ll have kittens soon. Just look at the little paws! And the little face! And I love her so so so much! <3 Right as I was about to complain to the company I ordered her from, my Scarlet Witch Dorbz arrived! With the regular mailman, who was probably […]

Traveling: Berlin

When Hugh Jackman announced on Twitter his new movie Logan would premiere at the Berlin Film Festival, I got a little excited. Though I also felt like it would be a bit of a waste to travel all the way to Berlin for just this movie premiere. But then, at the end of January, Diego Luna mentioned on twitter he had been chosen to be a member of the International Jury for the same festival. That was the moment Tanja and I started planning our trip to Berlin. We booked hotels, got plane tickets as soon as Diego’s appearance was 100% confirmed […]

My Life in Books Tag

I wanted to do some more book tags, so I googled ‘Book Tags’ and found this one on DreamlandBookBlog. It’s called the My Life in Book Tag, but I don’t know who originally created it. 1. Find a book for each of your initials N – Night Film by Marisha Pessl L – Life on the Refrigerator Door by Alice Kuipers P – Panic by Lauren Oliver 2. Count your age along your bookshelf, what book is it? If I do it counting my TBR shelf along, it’s Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. If I skip the TBR, it’s Queen […]

Updated Bookshelf Tour

It’s been a while since I’ve shared my bookshelves with you, so I thought it would be time to take out my camera and photograph my newly organised shelves again. I was contemplating making a video, but honestly I am not good at editing at all so it’s going to be pictures again. Maybe in the future. I’ll start with my two main bookshelves, and then at the end I’ll talk about the shelf built around my bed. Bookshelf nr. 1 On the top shelf we have my first TBR shelf. I also have my Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver Funko’s […]
